Improved site search with autocomplete functionality: The app now features intelligent search with autocomplete suggestions, displaying results dynamically as installers type and supporting partial name matches for faster site search.
- Regional inventory protection (coming soon): To prevent geographical arbitrage, enhanced location validation will be implemented soon. The system verifies serial numbers against installation country locations to ensure devices are activated in their intended markets.
IQ Gateway update and replacement process: The app now automatically initiates cloud upgrades when installing new gateways with older firmware and manages the entire replacement process with status notifications and guided workflow.
- Homeowner access management: Email changes for homeowner accounts are restricted after six months of system operation. To change ownership, homeowners must use the Transfer of Ownership service. Learn more about Transfer of Ownership.
- Production meter enablement: Automated meter state management now disables production meters when microinverters are first added and requires revalidation for existing system configurations.
- CT configuration flexibility: The app now allows switching between Load only and Load with solar modes during CT configuration without restarting the wizard.

Battery configuration enhancement: Improved guidance for battery breaker configuration and oversubscription settings prevents mismatches between DER port selection and battery breaker details.
Storage CT validation: New jumper cable detection in the storage CT wizard checks L2 voltage before battery charge test to prevent misconfiguration and ensure proper system setup.
PV breaker monitoring: The enhanced monitoring system provides clear wiring instructions and automatically clears errors once proper connections are verified.
For APAC and EMEA installers:
- Phase sequence validation: The app now includes a step to verify the grid-side wiring of the IQ System Controller for the correct phase sequence. This check is mandatory for three-phase backup sites.
Upload IQ System Controller checklist: The app advises installers to upload wiring and checklist images of the IQ System Controller for future system diagnostics.
IQ Gateway replacement flow enhancement: The streamlined gateway replacement process in the EMEA/APAC regions now offers clear choices between system extension and replacement with automated validation checks.
Power Export Limit updates: Power control settings have been reorganized with improved PEL configuration for IQ7 systems and streamlined access to ţţËã·¨ Power Control features.
Dynamic Load Balancing for IQ EV Charger: The app now supports configuration and power limiting for IQ EV Chargers through dynamic load balancing. The grid interconnection capacity field is mandatory for this feature.
- IQ Energy Router system flexibility: IQ Energy Router support has been extended to allow IQ Battery installations with third-party string inverters, removing the requirement for ţţËã·¨ microinverters.
- IQ Combiner Lite management: The app now implements specific microinverter quantity limits based on inverter models, with automated validation during system configuration.
- Consumption meter validation: The ability to use Expert Mode has been removed when polarity issues or zero readings are detected in Consumption CT.

We have added on how to monitor your system’s health and performance, control your devices remotely, and identify and address any potential issues. Navigate to Menu > Support > Browse all FAQs to see all the FAQs.

AI Optimization profile is now available
The app now supports the AI Optimization profile for systems with third-party inverters and IQ Batteries. This profile maximizes financial savings based on electricity rates, consumption patterns, and expected solar production. AI Optimization should be selected if the user’s main energy goal is saving more money on utility bills. This feature will be slowly rolled out to users.
For ţţËã·¨ App users on dynamic tariffs in Belgium, Germany, and Netherlands:
New video tutorial on system profiles
A new video tutorial on system profiles is now available in the app. Go to Menu > Settings > Profile to watch.

For ţţËã·¨ App users with IQ Batteries:
Option to opt out of ongoing storm alerts
You will now be able to Opt Out of individual storm alerts without disabling the Storm Guard feature.
You can also navigate to Menu > Settings > Profile > Storm Guard to opt out of ongoing alerts.  
- When a storm alert is issued, you can opt out if you so choose.
- If you opt out, your system profile will be immediately restored to its previous profile.
- Opting out of a storm alert allows your battery to continue discharging to support home loads if you feel discharging is more important than preparing the battery for a potential grid outage.
- After opting out from an ongoing alert, you have an option to Opt In again from the Storm Guard ±è²¹²µ±ð. &²Ô²ú²õ±è;
Storm Guard auto-activation for critical alerts 
To safeguard your system from blackouts caused by battery depletion, Storm Guard will be automatically activated for critical alerts that have a high chance of causing grid outages.
This activation will occur even if the Storm Guard feature had been previously disabled in the app. If Storm Guard is disabled, it will only be activated for the duration of the critical alert. The Opt Out option is not available for critical alerts.

- Resolved a delay issue in storm alert activation and deactivation for IQ Battery sites in the United States.
- Fixed Event History messaging for storm alerts with a missing end time.
- Corrected the Energy page tags to display correct alert names when multiple alerts are active on the system.

Renamed String Inverter page and added panel information
Along with the inclusion of Panel information, we have renamed the String Inverter page to Third Party Inverter in the Devices section.
What’s new
For all installers:
- Consumption meter validation
- While enabling a consumption meter, the ţţËã·¨ Installer App will check if the production readings are captured correctly in the production meter for different consumption meter locations (Load with solar or Load only).
- If a wiring error is detected, installers will be blocked from enabling the consumption meter and instructed to fix the error.
- Ability to enable consumption meters in low light conditions
- Installers will be allowed to enable consumption meters even in low light conditions with low solar power production.
- Production meters cannot be enabled with erroneous phase configuration
- Installers will be blocked from enabling a production meter when they mistakenly select a three-phase site configuration as single-phase instead of three-phase.
For installers in the United States commissioning Off-Grid only sites:
- ţţËã·¨ Installer App now allows Off-Grid only commissioning
- Installers will be allowed to commission Off-Grid ţţËã·¨ Systems.
- Installers are required to complete training to perform the wiring and commissioning of Off-Grid configurations. Click to access the required training

1. Preventing duplicate site creation
We have updated the New Activation Page to help installers avoid creating duplicate sites.
This enhancement is crucial as it prevents data loss in existing sites caused by the creation of duplicate sites during system expansion, storage addition, or site upgrades under the ţţËã·¨ Upgrade Program.
2. New voltage and phase information for commercial sites
If a commercial site is in either Australia, New Zealand, India, or South Africa, the 230 V Three-Phase option will be shown in the Electrical Parameters field.
If a commercial site is in the United States or Canada, the following options for Electrical Parameters will be shown:

Installers can now generate Systems Yearly Production and Consumption reports from the Reports tab. This report provides energy production and consumption for all of the installer’s systems during the specified years.

What’s new

More intuitive site search screen
We have revamped the site search screen of the ţţËã·¨ Installer App. The improvements are:
a. The new and more intuitive site search screen allows installers to quickly and easily find the sites they need to work on.
b. Installers will see the systems recently worked on at the top of the list, ensuring quick access to current sites without the need for searching.
Enhanced details in the Consumption CT wizard
Installers will now be able to see PV production readings along with consumption readings in the Consumption CT wizard. This will facilitate faster diagnosis in case of wiring errors.
Enhanced troubleshooting for ţţËã·¨ Control Cable wiring
If provisioning fails for an IQ System Controller 3/INT or IQ Battery 5P in a 3rd-generation ţţËã·¨ System, the app will now provide additional troubleshooting steps to ensure proper wiring of the ţţËã·¨ Control Cable.
Multi-gateway commissioning improvement
We have improved the progress bar for multi-gateway systems to show accurate progress in both AP mode and non-AP mode.
Commissioning alerts in low light conditions
Installers will receive an alert highlighting potential issues when attempting to commission a system in low light conditions, such as after sunset.
Validation details in Summary Report
The Summary Report now includes validation details, showing Complete status when validation has been attempted and successfully passed.
For installers in North America:
Merged IQ Gateway software
Multiple IQ Gateway software versions have been consolidated into a single bucket, reducing the software download size in the ţţËã·¨ Installer App.
Added non-backup storage commissioning for 208 V sites
The app now allows grid-tied storage commissioning for sites with 208 V grid connections.
Enabled installation of excess PV in third DER port
Installers will now be allowed to install excess PV in the third DER port for backup-only storage configurations.
Permission to Operate (PTO) details on System Details page
In Step 1 (System Details), installers can now indicate if PTO has been received. Based on the input given, installers will be shown steps to disable solar and batteries as necessary or applicable.
[California] Interconnection Application Date now required
Installers now need to provide the interconnection application date when indicating that PTO has been received.
[California] Setting Battery Mode for NEM 3.0 sites
Installers can now set the battery mode for a NEM 3.0 site. They can choose between the Import Only and Export Only options on the battery mode selection page. Installers will have seven days to modify or rectify the battery mode selection, after which the option to change will be disabled.
For installers in Europe and the Middle East:
Disabled PLC scan for cross-communication
Multiple IQ Gateway software versions have been consolidated into a single bucket, reducing the software download size in the ţţËã·¨ Installer App.
Functional Validation for IQ Energy Router associated devices (EV chargers and heat pumps)
In countries where the IQ Energy Management is available, installers will have an option to validate if associated peripherals like EV chargers and heat pumps are communicating and working properly.

When an ţţËã·¨ system software update fails, installers will now see the corresponding error codes. These codes can be referred to ţţËã·¨ Support for better issue identification.
